Positive: The room was exceptional. Beautifully appointed, well furnished, fabulous bed. Breakfast was excellent -the choice available and the quality were superb

Negative: The shower was pathetic - so disappointing. Also the showers in the spa were equally disappointing- with worn floor mats,tired and grubby mosaic tiling. Such a sham when the rest of the place was so good. Location rather disappointing- it’s not in the French concession as I thought it would be.

Summary: Nearly superb - such a shame about the showers!
