Prospect Cottage is part of the 300 year old Grade II listed Shippon Barn in Dittisham Court exclusively marketed by Dart Valley Cottages, South Devon. A delightful mews style conversion with unrivalled views across the village. Guests have use of the 4 acres of communal grounds which have wonderful views of the river. Prospect Cottage is in a great position with local amenities and river all within walking distance as well as including a private parking space. Accommodation: Steps lead up to the front door, opening into the hall and leading to the living room. This room is light and airy with a high ceiling, and French windows opening onto a small balcony with extensive views over the village to the fields beyond. The living room is comfortably furnished with a four-seater corner sofa and armchair, dining table and chairs, dresser, well stocked bookcase and occasional tables, TV, DVD and Radio/CD player. The kitchen is very well equipped and boasts cream units with built in electric hob, oven and microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, as well as a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Cloakroom with toilet and washbasin. Downstairs: From the hall stairs lead down to the bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The large half tiled bathroom includes bath, separate shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. Exterior: Prospect Cottage has a private parking space and use of the communal grounds at Dittisham Court. Nearby: The village pub The Red Lion is a 5 minute walk around the corner, The Red Lion also hosts the village shop and post office. A 10 minute walk will take you to The Quay where you will find the Ferry Boat Inn and The Anchorstone Cafe as well as ferries to Greenway and Dartmouth. Availability: In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Saturday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact me with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible. Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover.
