Positive: I had a warm welcome, was shown to the rooms and was offered bread for toast in the morning. The bed was very very comfy! Everything you needed was provided, lots of variety for breakfast. There were even cafetiere and nice ground coffee. Really nice to have a fridge and milk, water, yoghurt, butter, juice provided. It was like a little flat with two rooms. The property met my expectations in a lot of ways. Overall it is a good, safe place to stay. The area is very nice. No worries about the safety of your car overnight.
Negative: The bathroom wasn't clean. The bedroom was lovely but the light streaming in woke me up at 5am. Would be useful to fit some blackout curtains/blinds for lighter sleepers. The description said private rooms during your stay. I wasn't expecting anyone to go in either of the rooms while I was out but when I came back some things I had organised in the lounge had been altered. Then I read the description in more detail and it says daily housekeeping. Perhaps something to hang on the doors would be good to indicate if you want housekeeping or not. A minor thing but for anyone interested, the property doesn't have its own private front door. You go in the host's front door into their hallway and the rooms are to the left.
