Summary: We were hoping for a delightful stay, based on previous reviews and images from the marketing information, however we were very disappointed. Whilst the property had been cleaned inside prior to our arrival the outside space was quite unusable, rusty BBQ, chairs covered with spiders webs, dried leaves all over the floor, decaying fences and sheds, it really needed a lot of TLC - this is actually reflected in a review from 2025, so this isnt a one off. Inside the facility was okay, but WiFi was unavailable, we were told only 1-2 days before we arrived, and this was apparently due to BT.... Our real disappointment for this site is that there were no staff at all on site at any time, it actually felt abandoned, and considering every other review from about 2024 raved about the staff.. we thought something was amiss. People at the local pub were surprised we were staying there as they thought the site had been closed down and was up for sale. We stayed one night out of the 3 we booked. It is such a shame, because the site itself has the potential to be absolutely beautiful. I hate to be so negative, but in this case I think people need to know to not believe the marketing pictures.
