Positive: Villa with private pool. What more could we wanted? Location is perfect. Just a 5 minute walk to the Hersonissos Main Street but completely shut off in and around the villa. The villa was spacious, clean and has all the household equipment you need. The host Valentina made sure we could focus on having a great vacation and checked if everything was fine.
Negative: The villa changed ownership and management a few months ago and on our arrival the renovation of just 2 out of 9 villa’s were finished. We are long-time Crete visitors and know that many times limited effort is made to the surroundings which we believe could make a huge difference to the overall look of the accommodation. For now, we hope this also has their attention and worked on once the villa’s are all done, but on the short term it would be better to clean up a bit more.
Summary: Very nice stay in a comfortable and affordable villa with private pool.
