Positive: We had a wonderful time visiting Monteverde lodge. We were welcomed with a celebratory drink and chocolates as we were celebrating part of our honeymoon here. We were pretty busy attending tours and exploring the area so we unfortunately didn't spend too much time at the hotel for downtime but we enjoyed the bar and booked massages on site. The woman working the front desk was very sweet and attentive to our needs. They had a lovely pool and in a tree right next to the pool was a tree where a toucan mama kept her nest! If you come close to the tree you can hear the babies chirping for her return. We also loved the little pond outside our room!
Summary: Great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff members.
