Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was top notch. Masteri Thảo Điền is a well-designed and secure apartment complex right opposite An Phú Station. It took us only 5’ walking from the building to the subway station. There are many shops on the ground level such as a Ministop, an Annam Gourmet, a K-Market and a whole Vincom Mall at the front. The neighbourhood is modern, clean and very civilised. The apartment is well-equipped with lots of crockery, glasses, a hairdryer and even a clothes steamer. The mattresses were comfortable. There was a smart LG TV in the living room.

Negative: Check-in was tiring as we did not get any information until the day, and by then we had to call the host to ask for apartment details. We wanted to check in at 1pm so the host initially showed us another apartment, which looked old and seriously un-maintained. We were later directed to a second apartment. Furniture was still cheap and old. The sofa looked questionable with some stains. Some shelves were quite dusty. There were ants in the apartment.

Summary: Could have been a better experience if the host could maintain their apartments better.
