Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: An all-you-need (but eventually no-frills) studio in the green (olive trees all around) including fenced compound for parking, sunbeds with umbrellas. Good for two (not more) and great for self-caterers (cf.supermarkets at the EO Rodou-Lindou) and independent spirits. Air condition very helpful in our extreme August 35-40° C heat. Reliable and kind host, anytime convenient WhatsApp communication with host. Strong medium-sized fridge, waterboiler, cooking facilities, dishes, tables and seating furniture inside and outside… We had a great time (9 nights during a heat wave) and would book it again.

Negative: Anyhow: you need a car not to be lost in the middle of nowhere. Not easy to find (especially in the dark), poor signposting: fenced double house at corner Odos Romis/Odos Lisbonas, 300 m from ****Hotel Golden Odyssey. Be carful: sometimes bus and truck traffic just 1 m off the electric garden gate. Bunk bed: may less convenient for handicapped. Minor caveat: Keep ALL your food well protected against ubiquitious mini ants, eventually you have to accept them as pets…
