Positive: This is a spacious, well located apartment right next to the famous statue manikin pis. It’s across the road from a wonderful pub and restaurants so make sure you have dinner there. I liked staying in this location as it is on an ancient highway that once ran up to the Palace. Kitchen is well appointed and they provide coffee and a coffee machine which was great. The host was very good to deal with and we got the sense that they are a very decent person.

Negative: The stairwell had a bad smell like cigarettes. That gave us an ominous feeling as we arrived. The curtains don’t close properly, which means the street light shines into the bedroom. When you arrive, make sure you turn the heaters on straight away to 5. The rooms heat up quite quickly after that. It was noisy outside the room because of drunk people wandering around but they sounded merry and happy so this wasn’t a negative experience.
