Langdon's is located in the Hinterland, where you can base yourself to visit Pt Leo beach, Arthurs Seat Eagle, Enchanted Adventure Garden, Green Olive at Red Hill, pick strawberries at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, Main Ridge Dairy or one of the many wineries or restaurants the Peninsula has to offer. Whatever you decide to do, have fun!
Wander through the wilds of the garden to the front door. On entry to the right is a large dining area with a table that seats 10, including a kitchen and kitchenette, ideal for making your morning tea and coffee.
Behind the entry is the spacious atrium, where you can enjoy the sun's warmth. If it gets too hot, there's a split system to keep the room at the right temperature. Next to the atrium is a cosy lounge with two chaise lounges and an open fireplace for those chilly nights or simply watching TV.
The kitchen is compact and has an electric oven and gas hotplates (not ideal for entertaining large groups), a dishwasher and multi-oven in the laundry, a separate sink, fridge, washing machine, and dryer.
Combined with the kitchen, a sitting room with a tv and a split system, bedroom five leads off this room and has two King Singles. The 4th bathroom, which has a toilet, shower, and vanity, is off the sunroom, where you can sit and relax or venture out to the private courtyard. The 6th bedroom is located upstairs in the attic and has a gas heater.
There is also an outdoor timber gazebo housing a family bbq and a rustic brick pizza oven.
The property is supplied with tank water, but nearby trees in the Red Hill area can cause the water to turn discoloured due to the colour leaching from the leaves. However, the water is entirely safe for showering and washing. To ensure guests' comfort, the property owners provide several 10-litre water bottles for drinking and food-washing purposes, so it is unnecessary to bring additional supplies.
