Positive: Lovely location Nicely decorated

Negative: This property comes up when you filter for properties with fireplaces. Having stayed in the summer, we returned for a winter trip, anticipating the nice fire. However, we we told when arriving the fireplace doesn't work (pellet stove) which was extremely disappointing but also a annoying as it was very cold and we had to resort to the underfloor hearing which didn't want to stay on and came on only at random times and the air con which could blow heat but given the size of the rooms it wasn't great. It was not ideal being cold in a property we were trying to enjoy a short holiday in. Previously, when we stayed in the summer, I mentioned the lack of shower curtain. This has not been resolved, and meant when having a shower, the floor was soaked. I also previously complained about the lack of cleaning items..such as a hoover that actually work or broom and cleaners. The bed in the room with the en suite is very soft and old, and the mattress really needs replaced. The kitchen is lovely, but upon inspection and using the crockery, we had to clean everything as pots, plates, cups, and cutlery had all been put away greasy and dirty. There is some sort of air con unit under the bedroom which is noisy and runs all night.

Summary: 2nd visit...not so fantastic as we had hoped.
