Positive: The room was lovely, although it would of been nice to have tea and coffee in the room. We were told we could use the kitchen to make drinks. We did use the kitchen. The fridge was full of food, and it felt weird raiding someone else's fridge and cupboards. Luckily we had eaten so the cake in the fridge was safe. Not really a bad thing as you don't see or hear many busy pubs these days. This was busy and loud, but quite honestly, once the landlord shouted for them to drink up and go home at 12.15am. Everyone left and by 12.35am we were sleeping like babies
Negative: The bathroom was clean, but we had to share it with other guests. It was dated and clearly needs some work doing to it. For one night, it was OK. Again, there were lots of different shower gels and shampoos. Which was nice but again weird and felt like someone else's bathroom. It would be useful if you put door numbers on the rooms as someone did try and open our door. I guess they thought it was the bathroom. Thankfully, we had locked the door, or it could have been a little awkward. I also didn't mind using the side door, but it could do with a light outside to help guide you. The side gate could do with looking at as we found it quite challenging to open and close it. We posted our keys on leaving the next morning, which I have to say was giving off a walk of shame vibe😁, but that could have been me
