Positive: The owner seems to have thought of everything- so many thoughtful aspects to this lovely warm cottage, from all the possible necessary kitchen items, to a very generous welcome pack with delicious bread, butter, biscuits and a bottle of wine plus more. The double bedroom is very comfortable, as is the single (two beds) with well positioned plugs and and plenty of hangers for your clothes. Soft towels, a bright bathroom with excellent shower and lovely soaps. It was nice to have two sitting rooms, one with the lovely big, sliding window and perfect rural view of the neighbouring designer sheep, cows, ducks and chickens and even an apple tree full of rosy red apples and the other a cosy log fire, with a plentiful supply of logs. Parking is on the street but Glaisdale seemed lovely and quiet, so incoming traffic was not a problem. The village has a shop/post- office open in the mornings, plus a butchers and a pub. The surrounding countryside is stunning and of course the sea side is just half an hour away. I highly recommend this lovely stay.
