Summary: Lovely hotel in the French countryside. Spacious room, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Appreciated the balcony outside the room plus seated areas in the garden and patio with loungers for relaxing. Very tasty breakfast. Free onsite parking. Extremely helpful staff (apart from bar manager). Good onsite restaurant. Only 2km into town where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Good base for exploring the general area and close to canoeing and train de la Rhune. Couple of negatives. When I book a double room I expect to get a double bed not two singles pushed together - that's a twin room. Shower had no soapdish / shelf so nowhere to put products.
