Positive: I liked the breakfast, it was good, but I didn't like having to choose what I wanted to eat the next morning, the moment I arrived. We were presented with a tick sheet and, as there was only one other person, I guess they didn't want to put food out for us to select. The time given for breakfast was 9:00 - 10:00, not good if you need an early start.
Negative: We've stayed here before and loved it! However, this time was different. The whole windmill was covered with scaffolding, but the really bad thing was, the restaurant was closed! With just one other guest I don't think they thought it was worth opening but it was still on Google, 'restaurants nearby' as OPEN! It's way off the beaten track and after a long drive the last thing we wanted to do was drive to find food. Also, there was nobody there when we arrived. Had to phone and wait 20/30 minutes for them to come and let us in. We will not be visiting again.
Summary: Last year, great. This time, SO disappointing!
