Summary: This is a small hostel and my room didn't have a proper window, but rather a highly placed opening towards a ventilation shaft, as is very common in these types of buildings in Madrid. Everything was very clean and felt quite new, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. But the walls are thin and I could hear everything going on In the reception area and corridor. Every time someone called the door bell to get in, I could hear the bell through the walls into my room. And since there was no threshold, every time someone passed through the corridor a light went on outside, which could be seen into my room underneath the door. So make sure you bring ear buds and mask if you are sensitive to sound and light.
