The Horsterwold is one of the largest deciduous forests in Europe. It is a detached vacation villa with a beautifully landscaped garden, which is completely fenced. The Buitenplaats Horsterwold Park has been spacious remodeled and the communal outdoor pool is open in the summer. There is a tennis court and a bowling alley. There are several beaches where you can relax on a summer day, but also take a nice walk when the weather is not so good. Erkermedestrand has one of the longest beaches in Flevoland. Also interesting are the Hanseatic towns of Harderwijk and Elburg.
