Positive: This hanok was super sweet and my family loved it! The owners are so kind and very helpful, providing a clear map of where to find everything in the hanok village, suggestions for good meals, and also helping us book a taxi when we left. The room had great air conditioning and was perfect for the three of us.
Negative: We liked everything! But something to share with people unfamiliar with Korean hanoks: since sleeping on the floor is tradition, be prepared for that. You will not be sleeping on a thick and fluffy mattress! Also, Korean bathrooms, similar to many German and Danish ones from our experience, do not have walls or curtains separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom. This is totally normal, clean, and everyone provides slippers to use in the bathroom because of this reality. Finally, bring cash to pay for your stay. We thought this hanok was great and so well located in an incredibly charming part of Jeonju. Highly recommend!
