Summary: This hotel is in an old building and it shows in places. The shower was poor and the hot water took a long time to arrive, windows didn't open properly and the TV wouldn't show terrestrial channels (we reported this but the hotel staff couldn't make it work). On the plus side, the breakfast menu was excellent with great, freshly prepared dishes and homemade bread and served by an extremely helpful member of staff. But this was let down slightly by the cheap, nasty, plastic packets of jam which seemed at odds with the quality of the rest. This is primarily a wedding venue but a very nice place to stay midweek, quiet and comfortable.
