Positive: Beautiful castle. The owners took much care to renovate and keep the property in an excellent condition. Gardens were superb. Glasshouse dining sublime. Many activities available. Surrounding grounds also lovely. Small number of rooms meant a good deal of privacy.
Negative: As with most dated properties, the air was a bit musty but the staff kept everything very clean.
Summary: Beautiful countryside castle experience.
