It is 1h30 from Paris and only 20 km from Montargis, nicknamed "the Venice of Gâtinais" in reference to its 131 bridges and footbridges which connect the streets crossed by the Canal de Briare, the Loing and the Canal d'Orléans. In addition, the city has a large number of museums, such as the Girodet Museum. Don't leave Montargis without having tasted its speciality: Prasline de Montargis!
