Positive: Etna Stables is a fantastic place, well-maintained and strategically located for anyone wanting to explore Mount Etna and the surrounding villages. The accommodation is spacious, featuring two double bedrooms, a kitchenette, and even a coffee machine. The bathrooms were clean and well-kept, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.

Negative: Before booking, it’s important to note that, as the name suggests, this is a horse stable. While charming in concept, it comes with some challenges. Be prepared for noise, including dogs barking throughout the night and the sound of horses neighing. Additionally, stable cleaning and activity take place at odd hours, such as 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., which can be disruptive. Unfortunately, the stables are located directly behind the bedrooms, so even small noises, like a owner coughing, can feel amplified during the night.
