Our space-themed resort combines art, technology, comfort, and the bizarre. Our domes are perched on the side of a 100-foot-tall volcanic hill, offering guests breathtaking views of the sweeping landscapes of Big Bend and the surrounding mountains. While hiking around our volcanic hill, you will find an abundance of weird desert plants, aliens, spaceships, meteors, and other Easter eggs.
We are just a 11 minute drive from Big Bend National Park and the charming Terlingua Ghost Town with its many shops, restaurants, mines, and art. Our galactic resort offers a unique experience atop a 100-foot-high volcanic hill surrounded by majestic meteor rocks. From this vantage point, you can take in panoramic views of the National Park, State Park, Santa Elena Canyon, and the Chisos Mountains of Mexico. It's important to note that the hike up to dome requires a short 30 second hike up a small hill, which can be strenuous for people with mobility issues. The ascent takes approximately 2 minutes on foot and may take longer if you are carrying luggage. While we are more than happy to assist with carrying your belongings whenever possible, we kindly ask that you be prepared to transport your items if our assistance is unavailable.
Inside your Space Pod, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay, including electrical outlets, air conditioning, a fridge, a fan, and even lasers that project iridescent nebulas gliding across your ceiling for a truly immersive experience. Our water comes from a 750-foot-deep aquifer, ensuring it is both soft and clean. Remember that water in the desert is a precious resource, so we kindly ask that you limit your showers to 5 minutes.
Unlike traditional geodesic domes, our domes consist of rigid plastic, allowing us to have crystal-clear windows. With one-third of the dome being a window, you can enjoy the stars directly from your bed or close the massive curtains for some privacy.
Our amenities include shared outdoor bathrooms at the bottom of the hill and indoor bathrooms at the top of the hill. We will provide you with a towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You are welcome to use our common grilling areas or enjoy the fire pit located next to your dome.
After a day spent exploring the park, watch the sunset from our hammock chairs and then relax around your own personal fire pit as the stars begin to light up the night sky. At the end of the day, slip under a plush comforter and warm blankets and sleep soundly in the Space Pod's memory foam queen-size bed.

Water
Water is not potable in all the property ( space fort 003 included )
Please limit showers to 5 minutes to help conserve water
Fire Pit Safety

Heavy water misuse by anyone in your party will result in a minimum $100 fine
Pod Locations
Pods 005, 007, 008, 009, 010, 012 and some campsites require a steep uphill hike (2–4 minutes)
ATV assistance may not always be available — be prepared to carry your items
Most accessible Pods: 002, 004, 003, and 005
Terrain may still be challenging for guests with mobility concerns
A YouTube access video will be sent on the day of check-in
Campsite Locations
Volcanic Hill campsites: 4–6 minute steep hike; not recommended for kids under 18
All other campsites are at parking-lot level
We are not responsible for weather changes at the camping site. The locations are on top of a hill, and strong winds may occur. Guests must secure their tents properly and come prepared.
House Rules — Pods Only
Each Pod includes 1 queen bed; additional memory foam floor mattress available for $95
If the extra bed is installed, a Pod can hold 2 adults + 2 kids or 3 adults
Space Fort 003 can hold 8 adults max or 6 adults and 2 kids (with optional extra mattress)
Washing dishes in Space Fort 003 is required; a $50–$100 fee applies if left unwashed

Date Changes & Damages
Change date fee:50 $
Same-day date changes are not allowed. If accommodation is possible, a $100 fee will apply.

There is a $35 handling fee for mailing back any items forgotten at our property.
Shipping cost is separate and will be added based on the carrier’s rate.

To ensure safety, comfort, and fairness for all guests:
If you arrive with more guests than the maximum occupancy of the Pod you booked, you will be required to book an additional Pod.
If no additional spaces are available, a fee equal to the nightly rate of an extra Pod will be charged, even if the extra guests do not stay in it.
