The cottage, which sleeps eight – and is wheelchair accessible on the main floor – boasts more than 1600+ square feet of living space with three bedrooms and one and a half baths. Unique Decor Guests will find the unique décor including an authentic 8’ fishing dory hanging from the ceiling in the loft area and lobster traps (that were used by local fishermen), which have been re-purposed for use as kitchen pot racks! Moreover, the interior will give guests a definite ‘PEI Feel’ with artwork depicting indigenous wildlife such as foxes (which love to play out in the open on the south end of PEI National Park, much to the delight of visitors), eagles and waterfowl. Gourmet Kitchen In the spacious and bright gourmet kitchen, guests, who wish to cook, will find an abundance of custom maple cabinetry, quartz counter tops, four stainless steel GE appliances, a full compliment of small appliances by Kitchen Aid and Cuisinart (including an ice cream maker and espresso maker), and a wide selection of PEI’s own Paderno pots, including a 16 L stock pot large enough for an old fashioned lobster boil. Guests will enjoy dining at an informal oversized custom kitchen island that seats 6 in an open concept kitchen/living room area. And just outside the front door, for the gourmet chef, is two large planters filled with various kitchen herbs.
