Positive: The location, ONCE YOU CAN FIND IT, was great. Close to good restaurants, a small market, the boardwalk. It is a walk down the hill to the beach and taxis are available and inexpensive to get back up the hill if it's too hot! It is close to a more residential area so it's fairly quiet. The apartment was clean. The kitchen was serviceable although sharp knives are lacking. Appreciated beach towels provided.
Negative: It was almost impossible to find; two separate drivers (one Uber, one taxi) struggled with the address. Why the host doesn't declare it's behind REDE restaurant, across the street from Earth restaurant (both known landmarks) is a mystery. For those from the States please remember that ONE FLOOR UP is the "first floor"! There are stairs to access the apartment. The bed is full size and while there is a futon couch, the seat area of the couch has collapsed/broken and therefore unusable. The bathroom drains are distressingly slow, the shower threatening to overflow. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom but a hairdryer was available and there are plugs in the bedroom and a fully mirrored closet allows for hairstyling!
