Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is great as you are just outside the busy part of the city, but only a few minutes walk from the action. There's plenty of bars and shops in the immediate streets around too. Despite this, there is very little noise in the rooms. The AC in the room was very good and I enjoyed sitting on the terrace too as it has a nice vibe and you can people watch.

Negative: The rooms are very basic, but functional. If you just want a cheap place to stay and just need a bed and bathroom then this is a good choice. Don't expect any luxury if you're in a standard room. The bed is comfortable enough but the room is essentially a small concrete box. The bathroom needs a makeover, but it is clean and everything worked. It would be nice if this hostal could do a deal with one of the cafes/bars below it to include or at least negotiate a discount for breakfast as some of them are pretty good.
