This fantastic, detached luxury property enjoys lovely rural views from an elevated position in the heart of central Wales. The ideal holiday cottage for couples, families or friends looking for a remote countryside break. You will be greeted by a cosy gas wood burner in the living area, along with comfortable seating and a Smart TV providing a warm and cosy feel. A spacious dining room, allowing seating for six guests, and a kitchen which is well equipped with all the essentials, including a coffee machine. Up the stairs you will find three double bedrooms all decorated to a wonderful standard, and two family bathrooms, ideal for relaxing after a day of walking through the Welsh Valleys. The property also benefits from a large lawned garden, and patio seating area, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a place to relax after a long day out. A welcome pack is also provided for your arrival and includes bread, milk, butter, bacon and eggs.
Within easy walking distance of the village stores, post office and a pub. The property is within easy reach of Clywedog Reservoir and Powis Castle. It is an ideal spot for birdwatching, cycling and walking, and the west coastline is just over a 30-minute drive. Attractions include Elan Valley, Lake Vyrnwy, Source of the Severn, Hafren Forest, Plymlimon Hills and Devils Bridge. Activities in the area include clay pigeon shooting, golf, quad biking, laser shooting and pony trekking. This is also a great base for the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd. Close by there are towns such as Newtown and Llandiloes which both host an array of bars, independent shops and restaurants, and the popular market town of Machynlleth which has a lovely hustle and bustle during the holiday season with lots of independent shops and vegan/vegetarian restaurants and The Centre of Alternative Technology.
