Positive: The apartment is stunning, its' location is amazing, and the almost 360 degree views of mountains was only spoilt because they were not snow-capped. There is an underground secure car park with direct access, via a lift (and stairs), directly to the apartment front door. The front door is locked and unlocked with a code, so no need to fumble with extra keys. The apartment sleeps 9 - in a King Bed, queen bed, double/single bunk and single/single bunk. It will as easily accommodate one couple as it will four couples, or two families, which makes the cost very, very competitive. Even so, for us, the apartment provided everything that we were looking for (and more), and was worth every cent. There is a large lounge with seating and TV. Be prepared to bring your own streaming apps - they are all there. The Dining can comfortably accommodate 6 at the table and 4 at the breakfast bar, plus others at either of the TWO outside tables, or even just on your knee. The kitchen includes lots of mods cons, including dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, cooktop, microwave, etc, and the fridge/freezer are spacious enough if you are self catering. There are two bathrooms - an Ensuite off the second (Queen) bedroom, and a main bathroom outside the third bedroom. The laundry includes washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. The two decks each have table and chains, and there are sun loungers too. Access is via large double glazed sliding doors from the Lounge, Bedroom 1, and Bedroom 2. Views from the deck extend, easily, through 270 degrees, and when you add the views from the back (bunk bed room), they are almost panoramic. And OMG. What views. The mountains and lake captivate - they change so much throughout the day, as light changes. They are especially fantastic during the evening - especially sunset, with a glass of something. And when you tire of the scenery, you have all of Queenstown laid out at your feet. NOWHERE is much more than a 5 or 10 minute saunter.

Negative: The gas supply to the cooktop ran out on the last night. I know. Right? Did I mention that the mountains decided NOT to have snow on them. There is enough cutlery and plates for a couple, but it will not be possible to plate up for more than 5 or 6. Food prep is further challenged by blunt knives. Seriously, this is absolutely and by far, the best place I have ever stayed in, so far. It delivered what I wanted - incredible views, and decent cooking facilities so we could dine in and enjoy the incredible views, and good access to everything that Queenstown offers, when we didn't want to cook.

Summary: So far, my most favourite place to stay. Ever.
