Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was convenient, clean and comfortable. Despite being in the centre of Chepstow there was easy parking and the lockbox was easy to use. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean. The furniture (sofas, chairs, beds) were very comfortable and there was ample bedding. The shower was of a good standard. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Negative: The radiators were not switched on which meant that the apartment was very cold when we arrived. It took us a while to get the radiators to work (not as easy as the instructions in the booklet suggested) but once they did the apartment warmed up quite quickly. The internet did not work which meant that we could not use wifi on our phones or watch the television. We thought of contacting the owners about this but as we were only there one night and we spent most of the time either eating out or sleeping it wasn't a big issue. However, at £200 for the night, we thought that both the heating and the internet connection should have been working. On a lesser matter, no soap came out of the dispenser and it would have been useful to have had some washing up liquid. Finally, we were not sent the information about how to find the property and collect the key until the morning of our stay. It would be helpful to have this information at least 24 hours in advance.
