Absolute waterfrontage with incredible as-close-as-you-can-get ever-changing views of the sea and coastal wildlife - offering serenity, gorgeous sunrises and stunning sunsets and very private. Whether you're visiting Auckland on business, vacation or an Aucklander having a staycation or romantic getaway you won't find a better location. The decor is very Hamptons and oh-so-cosy for winter with full airconditioning, beautiful kitchenette, dining area, relaxing lounge and huge bedroom.

The Boat House was originally a boat shed that extended about 3 metres over the water at high tide. At some point (sadly) the over-water space was removed as it was in a poor state of repair and the boat shed was repurposed as a guest house in the 1970s. Between 1990 and now it became a recording studio and extended toward the swimming pool area. The extension is now utilised as an office and the studio refurbished by its current owners for guests to enjoy the beauty and serenity of its location in greater comfort

Summary: Lovely cabin right on the water, spacious and airy. Well furnished and nice nautical touches. Bed very comfortable, kitchen well enough equipped for meal prep. We enjoyed watching the ever changing light, tides, birdlife in this peaceful waterside spot.
