Take the chance to experience the tranquility of a wonderful holiday home in magically idyllic beautiful Mörtfors, located between Västervik and Oskarshamn. Mörtfors is a well-kept village that really goes straight to the heart with the beautiful river that runs through the community and all the nice well-preserved buildings. You have a nice municipal swimming area with a sandy bottom where there is a bathing jetty and a swimming raft with a jumping tower just 450m from the house. In Mörtfors there is a lot of history to discover as well as wonderful protected nature and hiking trails. The East Coast Trail runs through the community and is usually popular. The house is a little higher with a wonderful glass veranda where you can enjoy the view of Mörtfors, glimpse the river and hear its relaxing noise. You also have a garden with various outdoor furniture and deckchairs to enjoy. The kitchen is large and fresh with a dishwasher and dining area. In the living room you can rest or socialize on the comfortable sofas in front of a fire in the stove (bring your own firewood). There is a smart-TV screen, but no Wi-Fi, so in that case connect to your own network. Upstairs there are two nice bedrooms, one with a double bed of 180 cm, the other with a single bed. Up another flight of stairs there is a sleeping loft with 2 more beds under the eaves. Please note that the house's only toilet with shower has a lower ceiling and is upstairs with entrance only from the double bedroom. To Oskarshamn you have 3 miles to experience the city or take the ferry that goes to Byxelkrok on Öland in the summer. Gunnarsö is one of Oskarshamn's most popular bathing spots. You also have the beautiful summer town of Västervik 4 miles away, which is well worth a visit. Here is Lysingsbadet, where there is also a water park.
