About an hour's drive away is Le Mans with its famous automobile circuit and charming old town. Further south you will find the Loire Valley with its legendary castles and famous vineyards and the city of Angers, which collects treasures in its museums and castle.

Summary: We stayed hear a group of 7 upstairs of the mill is of a good standard downstairs could do with a bit of modernisation however this did not spoil our stay the location is fantastic right on the river with no other property to close to spoil the quiet we had one problem with 2 mattresses being hard and uncomfortable we spoke to the owner in the morning despite a few language problems she agreed to change them a 5 pm Sunday night the same day 2 new mattresses arrived the best service I've ever experienced as most shop's are closed on Sunday in the area first class experience
