This lodge is the size of a bungalow and has three good sized bedrooms, itโs definately a well equipped โhome from homeโ and is unlike any other on the holiday park.. 7 steps to entrance.

Kitchen: With electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Dolche Gusto coffee machine and washing machine.

Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Merlinโs Cabin is a cedar wood lodge set within an established wooded valley, within the family-run holiday park Penlan. It is 1 mile from the village of Cenarth, with a supermarket, historic waterfalls, and the river Teifi. There is a Pub in the village which provides good food.
Within 15 minutes is the town of Cardigan, with its historic castle, and river walks, and 10 minutes from Newcastle Emlyn. Newcastle Emlyn is a small market town and has all one needs in terms of an excellent organic shop, local butchers, homemade fudge shop, and a good riverside cafรฉ.
Within easy reach of the cabin are great roads for cycling, six beaches, a farm that makes its own cheese, and the Pembrokeshire Coast path is 7.5 miles away. The Welsh Wildlife Centre (15 minutes) and Llys y Fran Lake & activity centre, and Dolphin watching in Cardigan Bay (35 minutes) are also nearby. The area and what it has to offer makes Merlinโs Cabin a good holiday base for families, walkers and cyclists.
The park environment is unique as it affords visitors a high degree of privacy because of its layout and being set within natural woodland. It really is a special place to stay, and for a complete unwind.
Merlinโs Cabin is spacious and comfortable. Extras include under heated blankets for all beds so you are warm and comfortable in cooler weather. The cabin has sofa blankets for those typical damp Welsh days, and a good selection of DVDs, books, and board games. A large plastic dog bed, 2 x dog food bowls and a large water bowl are also provided. Additional extras are available including dog blanket and towels, and beach towels via personal arrangement with the cabin owners.
The owners make a small contribution to your electricity. This will be proportionate to the time of year, the length of stay and fee paid. Information on how to top up is clearly set out in the cabin information booklet. Expect to top up your electricity. Electricity prices have increased as you know, as the host we cannot absorb this increase, alongside increases in laundry fees.
The swimming pool is open May - September Wednesday to Sunday. 9am - 10am is adults only. 10am to 5pm is for families. All children under the age of 16 must be supervised. There is no lifeguard. The pool is used at 'own risk'.
A security deposit of ยฃ100 is taken by the cabin owners, from all holiday guests, 2 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit is returned in full on confirmation of no damage to the cabin or its contents by the cabin care staff who attend within 24hours of you leaving.
