Both East Sussex and Kent are home to many National Trust properties and gardens, and most are within easy driving distance of Beckley. There is also a wide range of English Heritage sites to visit, including the famous Battle Abbey and battleground, allowing you the option of delving into the culture and history in this area or just retreating to the peace and quiet of the countryside.
