Positive: This was a room only booking, no breakfast. Booked as an emergency as the accommodation we had booked, The Broadoak Hotel, in Ashton, or Booking.Com, had not informed us that they were closed due to being refurbished which had apparently being going on for 3 weeks. So we turned up at this hotel about, 2.20pm, & found it was closed & we had to find somewhere else to stay quickly. I tried calling the numbers to reach the hotel but there was no answer. Went back on the booking.com site & found this room only accom. Needed to book something quickly in the same area, close to the the Metro to the Co-op/Etihad Campus. Was not prepared for room only, so had to buy pillows, towels. Did not like sharing a bathroom, but it worked out ok. Did try Premier Inn, but they were silly prices & there was no answer from Travelodge. Yet to find out if i have been charged for staying at The Broadoak, but Booking.com has sent me emails to to provide a review for The Broadoak!!
